This event is not judged.
Printed images must be no smaller than 8 x 10 inches. They can be mounted on any size card. Any images which are mounted on card smaller than the WPF requirements of 400mm x 500mm will not be eligible for interclub selections. If the selection committee wish to enter your image, you will have the opportunity to reproduce your image (at your cost) to the WPF minimum size
EGM and Tenby Selection
Thursday 5th Sept 2019
The beginning of this evening will be an Extraordinary General Meeting to agree the minutes from the AGM back in May and then we will be selecting the images to represent our Club in the Tenby Battle at the end of the month.
Family Safari / Treasure Hunt Day Out

This year's safari day is being organised by Nicky & Andy. It will be centered around Carmarthen. We will meet at 11.00am at the front of the Guild Hall. As usual family members are welcome to take part in the photo and question competition. Don’t forget your camera!
Practical Evening – Model Photo Walk

We welcome back Amy and Lucy to be our models for this evening. If weather permits we will be taking photos outside. Bring your cameras and a selection of props.
Show and tell

Tenby Battle - HOSTED AT TENBY

5 Way Battle

Tonight we host our first Interclub Battle against: Towy Valley, Trostre/Velindre, Kidwelly, Pontyberem and Carmarthen. The judge for this evening is Gareth Martin AWPF, CPAGB of Cymru Monochrome. Members are requested to bring at least one item to contribute towards the buffet.
Ross Grieve – Panasonic Representative
Thursday 14th Nov 2019
Ross is a qualified member of the Master Photographers Association, a Panasonic Lumix G Ambassador and an X-Rite Coloratti Master. This evening Ross will talk to us about some of the latest mirrorless equipment he is working with, as well as showing us some of the places he has visited and the images he has achieved.
Tonight is also the deadline for entries in the PDI Round 2 Competition.

There will be no meeting at the Indoor Bowls Club this evening. Instead, we will be having a meal and laughs at a local venue and family members are warmly invited. Details and confirmation of this will be made nearer the time.

Critique Swap Night Part I

This evening we will be critiquing the images of East Sutherland Camera Club, from Brora in the Highlands. We will be giving comments based on set criteria but we will not be allocating a score to the images. These comments will then be reported back to ESCC for them to share with their Club at a later date. They will be doing the same with our supplied images and we will give this feedback to the Club in Part II.

Tonight we all get to play judges as we view and score each of the images from the family Safari day out around Carmarthen; that took place back in September. Nicky and Andy will be running the show.
Critique Swap Night Part II

This evening we will be showing our PDI images that we submitted to East Sutherland Camera Club back in early January. They have been critiqued by ESCC to the same formula as we used for their images. We will be reading out their feedback for us, which will no doubt result in a lively and interesting night.

Towy Valley: Three Way Battle - HOSTED AT TOWY VALLEY
Monday 9th March 2020
Come along to Towy Valley to support your Club in an away battle against Towy Valley and Pontyberem at The Reading Room, Cwmifor, Manordeilo, SA19 7AW. Directions from Llandeilo:- Turn left off the A40 about two miles east of Llandeilo at the sign for Cwnifor. The hall is on the right 200 yards along.
Ian Ledgard – Mono Moments

Internal Night - Audio Visual Masterpieces

Tonight is your chance to show off your audio visual skills. We had some excellent entries last year and no doubt they will be even better this year. No judging is given and sequences should be no more than 8 minutes long. Please check with Jo Debenham-Ansty that the file format you intend to use is suitable for the Club laptop to avoid disappointment on the night.

Annual General Meeting

The Club’s Annual General Meeting where we elect new and returning Committee Members and discuss ideas for the following season’s programme. Everyone is encouraged to come along and support the smooth running of the Club.

Awards Presentation Night & Social Evening

Join us at The Caraway Pub from 6.30pm (if you are dining) or 7.30pm, where we will be giving out this season's awards. This includes our Photographer of the Year, President’s and Chairman’s Cups. After the awards people are welcome to stay on and enjoy a social evening, at your own expense, if you wish.
